We are also serious about providing outstanding career opportunities in addition to world-class benefits like: 401(k), Performance Rewards, Health Care, Retirement and Discounted Travel Worldwide.** **Primary Job Duties** + Reports to the General Manager of Parts, Base and Line + Must know company manuals with associated policies and procedures, in regards to managing inventory for a Maintenance Base, and associated Line, On-Call, Contract and Substantial Maintenance Parts Departments + Ensures that the inventory levels for rotable and consumable parts are correct for usage through proper policies and procedures + Ensures that duties and responsibilities of the parts clerks are followed. Provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage in the parts room + Makes sure rotables are shipped to appropriate outside vendors or in-house accessory shops for repairs + Accounts for total inventory values and counts of both rotable and consumable parts + Ensures accuracy of inventories under their management, and account for fill rates and turn times + Communicates with shops at the respective maintenance bases to expedite return to stock + Perform other tasks as delegated by the General Manager of Parts, Base and Line **Minimum Requirements** + Be at least 18 years old + Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license + Have a High School Diploma or GED + Ability to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen + Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship + Parts experience at a base level required + Previous supervisory experience preferred + Ability to work unsupervised and be a self starter + Good attendance and a strong work ethic + Strong teamwork skills + Familiar with computer inventory programs + Ability to write clearly and develop standard practices + Excellent communication and people skills + Problem solving and organizational skills are required + Exercises good judgment in working with people + Understand the shipping and receiving procedures + Familiar with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations + Project a positive image of SkyWest Airlines **Physical and Other Requirements** + Able to lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without a reasonable accommodation + Requires extensive travel + Proficient with typing + Salary discussed in interview _Please complete the on-line application.
