Responsibilities:
Coaches, directs, and counsels employees on overall performanceManages daily workflow within the department by establishing operating procedures and policies, and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignmentsResolves workplace conflicts, taking appropriate, respectful, and consistent action to resolve performance issuesAssesses the skills and weaknesses of their employees and uses that information to develop the strongest possible teamAnalyzes needs and establishes development and training programs for team membersInterviews, selects, and hires employees for their team, following dealership hiring proceduresPerforms basic parts administration, including monitoring of: profit and loss statements, buildings and equipment, stock order files and their claims, cyclical inventory accounts, cash sale files, and the inventory of core and warranty partsManages the assets and approved budget for their departmentSets the operating standards within their section of the organizationAssists internal and outside customers with parts and technical information for various product linesQualifications:
4-year college degree preferred 5+ years previous management or supervisory experience preferredDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and OutlookStrong communication skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of staff as well as with customersExceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiating skillsOutstanding customer service skills and superior level of professionalismHigh level of honesty & integrityMinimum Physical Requirements:
Push/pull up to 50 lbsLift/carry up to 50 lbsLift bulky objectsNeck rotation, trunk rotation, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, and overhead reaching.Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor.
