Job Title: Parts Prep

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Parts Prep professional to ensure that parts are clean and ready for inspection. You will use various tools to clean parts, move them through different production stages, and match up paperwork for completed work orders. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure parts are clean and ready for inspectionUse wire wheels and other tools to clean partsMove parts to different stages within productionMatch up paperwork for all completed work ordersPlace all parts in proper bin locationsPull parts for sales orders as needed, ensuring deliveries are correctly placedPerform other duties as assignedEssential SkillsExperience with grinding, polishing, and general laborAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipmentExperience with crane operation up to 20 tonsCapability to handle heavy liftingProficiency in using tape measuresAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredStrong work ethicAbility to handle toolsAbility to interpret work instructionsAbility to work independentlyOvertime may be required based on customer demandWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration, with a moderate noise level. Physical demands include frequent reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The job requires regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with lifting equipment recommended. The pay range for this position is $38480.00 - $42328.00/yr.
