POSITION SUMMARY:

Monitor the parts room throughout the entire shift. To keep parts room clean at all times. Receive in any packages that need to be in the CMS system and physically.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Notify any other departments of arrival of packages ensuring they get picked up in a timely manner.· Notify those necessary of what came in and where they can find it (maintenance).· Kit any instructed work orders with their parts.· Keep parts clean and free of dust and debris.· Ensure all parts and their locations are clearly labeled.· Keep CMMS system always updated with part locations, quantities, and descriptions.· Perform cycle counts as needed.· Check-out parts to work orders at the end of every shift.· Issue parts on a daily basis. Ensure accurate data on each part charge out.· Perform cycle counts as directed. Input discrepancies through SAP CMMS inventory adjustments.· Maintain a clean, well organized and safe parts room. Ensure security is maintained.· Ensure stock is received and maintained and stored in the correct location.· Audit and report stocking levels discrepancies in vender managed inventory.· Monitor and requisition consumable inventory. Track inventory repairs.· Maintain non-stock parts and service purchases. Monitor non-stock part purchases for accuracy, timely usage, and need.· Ensure on-time receipt of purchased parts and inventory.· Track and report spending daily. Ensure accurate part requisitions, purchase order generation, inventory receipt, and invoice approval.· Need to be forklift and pallet jack certified.· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

· Min. 1 year of similar work experience preferred· Proficient in Microsoft Applications particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.· Prior experience in SAP is a plus.· Strong communication skills· Knowledge of parts and tools used in a plant setting· Ability to prioritize· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk and reach with hands and arms 34-66% of the time· The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel 67-100% of the time.· The employee is required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear 0-33% of the time· The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds or more with assisted lifting 67-100% of the timeNo sponsorship available for this position
