You Will
Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Review parts material data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and accounting reports and enters information into PICS system to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
Create purchase requisitions or other documents to initiate purchase of new or replenishment non-stock items.
Compile stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment of non-stock items.
Compare nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
Review PICS for slow moving or obsolete items and recommend disposition.
Dispense parts to employees with appropriate authorization. This includes assisting employees in determining correct part for specific machines.
Verify PICS transaction accuracy and physical counts of assigned parts to insure targeted cycle count accuracy is met or exceeded.
Perform receiving functions as required.
You Have
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
