Compensation: Starting Pay $22.17 an hour - paid weekly

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Ensures all maintenance and production spare parts are readily available to support operational needs.

  

Essential Functions:

Daily Cycle CountingReceive and organize incoming shipmentsMaintain accurate stocking levelsCreate and maintain cost savings spreadsheetMaintain manual inventory spreadsheetLocate and purchase new stock additionsWork with vendors, and maintenance staff to obtain emergency materialsInput order requisitionsTrack transactions in and out of inventoryEstablish reorder points for high use spare partsFollows all Company established rules and policiesAdheres to all Safety rules and regulationsCompletes paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerEnsures housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean and tidy

Responsibilities for stockroom

Pull parts from inventory for work ordersPerform inventory checksMaintain documents related to partsPerform data entry functionsOrganize and maintain stockroom areaReceives, stores and distributes material, equipment, supplies and/or tools.Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.Maintains inventory levels and stock records.Inspects, accepts or rejects materials receivedCompiles stock records for stockroom, warehouse.Performs periodic inventories as requiredCounts, sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt.Stores articles in bins or locations as requiredFills orders or issues supplies from stock.Distributes stock among PM work orders, keeps records of material issued.Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.Cuts Req’s to fill ordersPerforms other work related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent; one year of inventory control, material handling or stock room experience; WMS experience preferredDynamic, self-starter, proactiveAbility to work in a team environment and coordinate with internal and external associatesGeneral lifting of parts (up to 40-50 lbs.) may be required as a daily job taskMaintains a safe and clean work environment while following departmental process and procedures, relying on judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goalsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred software knowledge in SAP and Maintenance Connection.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Conveys material from storage or work sites to designated areasCounts, weighs, and records number of units of material moved or handled on daily production Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong work ethic (willingness to work overtime as needed including Saturdays)Must be fluent and able to read and write English Qualifications
