Parts Service Sales Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates marketing for the Parts and Service departments to maximize performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: + Develops monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans for assigned locations with emphasis on increasing parts and service sales. + Monitor parts and service departments sales performance and compare to budget. + Implement an action plan to maximize performance to meet the sales achievement goals. + Maintain and enhance the bulk-oil marketing plan with an emphasis on the growth of the lube and filter business. + Assists in helping support customer and special events. + Coordinate promotional materials and advertising with Marketing Manager. + Develop and maintain a key account contact plan. + Coordinate joint customer calls with appropriate store personnel. + Acquire an in-depth knowledge of Birkey's system and strategy for parts ordering and distribution. + Represents the company's interests by serving on various manufacturers committees and panels as necessary. + Frequent travel required. + Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times. + Perform other duties as assigned. Must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest level of customer satisfaction. The individual should have minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.
