Could you be the full-time Parts & Services Sales Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your deep and broad technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the process of selling our advanced product lines, driving customer awareness and education on the value of Alstom’s offerings. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, inside sales, product divisions), manage product knowledge aspects of the customer relationship, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Collecting, analyzing, and utilizing market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits,
Reviewing and interpreting customer needs on plans and specifications,
Maintaining awareness of and responsiveness to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions,
Participating in bid calls, presentations, and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment,
Ownership of the Engineering Sales Deck and marketing material related to Services Engineering,
Coordinating, aligning, and making accountable various Alstom product teams to assist with issue solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner,
Working cooperatively with inside sales and other members of the team, as well as with our supplier’s sales channels and management to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction

Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering,
Experience or understanding of the transportation sector and rail industry specifically,
Minimum three (3) years in a Sales engineering role in a technical environment
Familiarity with sales techniques and maintaining good customer relationships,
Demonstrated understanding of market trends, industry issues, and knowledge of competitors
