Part Time Parts Shipping/Receiving Support at Hendrick Honda- As a Parts Support, your day-to-day includes processing the shipping and receiving of automotive parts and maintaining inventory for the dealership Parts Department. Also loading and unloading trucks and may operate a forklift to move materials.

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour.

Part Time Schedule: Monday-Friday between 12:00pm-5:00pm, average 25 hours per week.

Pre-Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Satisfactory work experience in a customer driven environment.

Job Skills:

Attention to Detail.

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Ability to prepare items for shipping.

Ability to work at a faster pace.

Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Communication, Team Player.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills needed to utilize the company timekeeping system.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company

personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance.  Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily in the Parts Department.  Work includes moving throughout the Parts Department and frequent moving and shelving of parts.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. 

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
