Job purpose

A Tax Senior will be expected to lead a team of analysts and experienced analysts and be responsible for client service delivery of an account.

They will be responsible for developing and coaching team members.

 

Client responsibilities

Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues

In depth knowledge of Belgian tax legislation and ability to review medium to complex tax returns

Explore opportunities to bring more work to the GDS and to EY by consistently providing high quality work Supervise day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement

Demonstrate leadership skills in developing the highest performing teams

Help managers and senior managers with ad-hoc projects

Develop engagement and financial management skills

Contribute process improvement ideas leading to higher quality service delivery to the client Identify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams

People responsibilities

Facilitate teaming and manage conflicts

Motivate and inspire team members Demonstrate leadership and executive presence Coach team members

 

Technical skills requirements

Certified EA, CPA or equivalent - added advantage and not mandatory.

Effectively communicate by being articulate, thoughtful and adapting communications to target audiences; interacting effectively in person, by phone and in writing
