**Position Summary**
The Patent Administrator is primarily responsible for all administrative support for the patent team and VP, Legal – Intellectual Property
**Responsibiltiies:**
+ Schedule and support patent committee meetings
+ Record and track invention disclosure documents
+ Support the issuance of patent awards
+ Perform docketing functions, data entry, updating of existing records, tracking and following up on deadlines and reporting
+ Record and track patent applications, issued patents, trademark applications, and registered trademarks
+ Review and process a large volume of e-mail, mailings, and correspondence related to patent and trademark matters
+ Generate reports related to the patent and trademark portfolios
+ Administrative support for travel, patent and trademark matters, and scheduling of meetings
**Qualfications**
+ Bachelor of Business Administration or any relevant course
+ Candidate should possess a professional certificate or paralegal certificate
+ At least 3 years of administrative or secretarial experience supporting senior management
+ Law firm experience is preferred
+ Patent docketing experience is preferred
+ Team Player: Works within team and cross-functionally to meet required results
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Proactive and meticulous
+ Efficient and effective in completing tasks
+ Supportive and responsible with a sense of urgency
+ Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
+ Aptitude for understanding a variety of databases and software
+ Willing to support tasks after working hours as and when required
+ Other administrative tasks and projects as may be assigned
+ Office attendance is required
