What You Will Be Doing:The Parts Logistics Clerk position is responsible for the execution of the daily tasks involved with the Pathfinder Power Solutions parts warehouse operation.
Primary Responsibilities: Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out any items. Receive all stock orders each day and properly bin locate any items that do not already have bin locations assigned. Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt. Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers received prior to cut-off, delivering shop orders, and assisting customers with loading. Pick, pack and arrange appropriate shipment of all Second Level Dealer (SLD) stock and emergency orders for parts and components Inspect worn cores before issuing credit. Process and return cores each week. Respond to all warranty parts return requests each week. Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly the disposition of specific parts per Perkins or other OEM vendors’ special instructions or published policies Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Required Qualifications/Skills: Excellent communication skills both over the phone and in person. Work with a sense of urgency and organization. Ability to become forklift certified. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally higher amounts with assistive devices. Values:At Yancey Bros.
