Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory is a full-service dermatopathology practice located in Monroe, MI., and founded by Hermann Pinkus, M.D., a pioneer in dermatopathology. Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory has been a trusted member of Michigan’s dermatopathology community for over 70 years. Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory remains focused on providing unparalleled services throughout the Great Lakes region. As one of the oldest dermatopathology practices in the world, Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory provides expertise that our clients and physicians recognize and trust in each and every diagnosis.

We are seeking a Dermatopathologist to join our practice.

Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens, from both glass slide and digital formats.Provide microscopic dictations, and, at times, gross evaluations when appropriate.Be available for physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling, diagnosis, and management, as needed.Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service.

Experience:

Doctor of Medicine (M.D. /D.O.) with completion of residency training (either dermatology or pathology). Eligible for an unrestricted Minnesota medical license.Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology.A minimum of 1-4 years’ experience including fellowship training.Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/EligibilityExcellent communication skills are a priority.The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.
