In addition, less frequent work effort will be required at other UW School of Medicine locations (e.g., South Lake Union) and Seattle-area healthcare institutions. + Will be considered essential staff and as such will be required to report to work when scheduled despite inclement weather. + Must be able to meet with all shifts on a regular basis. **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS** + Master’s Degree in Pathologists’ Assistant + 2-3 years experience + Current ASCP certified Pathologists' Assistant **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary objective of this role is to ensure that our patients receive top-tier pathology care for their surgical specimens, while also delivering high-quality training to our new trainees when cross-site coverage is required by the Montlake Pathologists’ Assistant team. The Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) position functions under the direct supervision of a board-certified anatomical pathologist, providing critical technical, educational, and operational support in the Gross Room and Frozen Section areas.
