Pathology Coordinator (Histology)

As a Pathology Coordinator at IDEXX, you will be a key contributor at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world. You will be responsible for maintaining IDEXX’s whole slide scanners, assuring digital slide and patient requisition image quality for the Pathology team. In This Role: 

You will assure accurate and timely delivery of casework (and collateral materials) to remote pathologists. 

You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting virtual microscopy (VM) systems that provide remote viewing & digital slide analysis capability to pathologists. 

You will organize and archive pending and completed VM cases. 

You will create and maintain VM system standard operating procedures. 

You will track VM system errors. 

You will troubleshoot VM system problems with pathologists, labs, vendors, IT, and others. 

You will run regular meetings and meet with vendors. 

What You'll Need to Succeed: 

You have 0-1+ years’ experience working in a lab. 

You have strong computer skills - MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)  

You have the ability to create and report on metrics 

You have strong organizational skills. 

Able to effectively demonstrate project administration skills and/or task management skills.  

You have strong written and verbal communication skills. 

You are able to deliver trainings and presentations 

You have the ability to work independently, as a team member, and as a team leader 

You have excellent client service skills. 

What You Can Expect From Us: 

Hourly rates targeting: $20 - 22 / hour

Schedule: 

This is a full-time (40 hr/wk), day shift position with scheduled shifts Monday - Friday; 2:00pm to 10:30pm, or 3:00pm to 11:30pm

The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs. 

Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.
