Patient Access Center Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

The purpose of the Contact Center Operations Analyst role is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of patient access services within 

healthcare organizations. This position focuses on analyzing and optimizing processes related to patient scheduling, registration, and 

intake to improve overall patient experience and access to care. The analyst collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to 

implement best practices, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, the role aims to drive 

operational excellence, reduce wait times, and improve patient satisfaction.

Job Type: Full Time 


Salary Range: $54,186 - $66,936 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications


Education


Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related 

 

Field.


Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or 

 

related area.


Experience


Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations specialist, consulting, or management. 

 

Experience with data analysis and performance metrics 

 

Familiarity with operational workflows, epic experience and providing support to operational leadership and 

 

staff, generating and creating structure, workflows.

 

Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives


Preferred: 3 Years of experience in healthcare operations specialist, consulting, or management.

 

5 years of experience in Capacity Management, Physician Schedules, and Epic cadence workflows

 

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

 

Strong project management skills.

 

Epic Cadence, Epic Ambulatory and Reporting experience.

Strong analytical skills: ability to determine and manage actions needed based on available reporting data.

Strong functional competence using 

 

Microsoft office Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.

 

Excellent customer service orientation

 

Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

 

High-level of analytics and reporting with excellent attention to detail.

 

Ability to present and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, verbally or in writing.

 

Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

 

Ability to work independently and organize work effectively.

 

Ability to work with staff at various levels with various focus areas (e.g., technical, and operational).

 

Ability to build and maintain relationships with outside departments and vendors.

 

Ability to and willingness to learn new epic and operation workflows and information quickly.

 

Works collaboratively with Providers, Managers, Clinic Administrators, Medical Directors, and staff to maintain 

 

continuity of scheduling and desired outcomes for Patient Access.

 

Experience using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.


Preferred: Crystal report experience.

 

Advanced in Excel.
