Job Summary: Responsible for front office operations including answering the telephone, greeting and directing patients and visitors, completing registration requirement for outpatient therapy patients and inpatient rehabilitation patients, obtaining insurance verification and authorization for outpatient therapy services.  All duties and responsibilities are to be carried out with empathy and compassion toward patients, visitors, and co-workers.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma with additional courses in or knowledge of medical terminology, bookkeeping, and computer use. One year in a clerical healthcare setting preferred. Complete the 9 courses assigned within the registration education module. These courses include HIPAA Overview, Registration and Insurance Basics, and Service Excellence. These courses are designed to improve employee performance and gain competence in the role as well as enhance the patient experience. A passing grade of 80 is required for all courses and courses must be completed within 6 months of date of hire.

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm
