Under general direction, the Patient Access Team Lead manages front desk duties using general clerical and customer service skills including, but not limited to, greeting and registering patients, collecting patient payments, ensuring patient flow, and scheduling appointments. The Patient Access Team Lead provides training (initial and ongoing) to the front desk staff and is responsible for coordinating and maintaining coverage at the front desk. The Patient Access Team Lead tracks errors and reports these to the Practice Manager.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
High School diploma or equivalentAt least one year of Patient Access Coordinator or front office experience preferred.Benefits include:
