**Patient Access & Reimbursement (PAR) Analyst, Senior Manager**

The Patient Access & Reimbursement (PAR) Analyst reports to the Director, Field Reimbursement and is responsible for the development, coordination, and measurement of strategic programs, productivity activity, and monitoring budget/expenses and insights for patient – related services at Amgen.

Under the general direction of the Field Reimbursement Director, the PAR analyst will oversee reporting and data analysis to support core operations and strategic planning for patient access services. The position will have ownership of crafting, developing, and implementing new data sets and critical metrics as well as continuing to evaluate and adjust those measures going forward.
Additionally, the Analyst will lead the development of executive presentations including quarterly business reviews, acts as lead facilitator of senior level meetings, is responsible for MBO tracking & key deliverables, deploying communications, and special department process improvement initiatives and project management
+ Supports patient-access services and PAR leadership team in developing and coordinating team operating model and business cadence
+ National team meeting coordination and quarterly national team calls for agenda/content in collaboration with the PAR leadership team and appropriate stakeholders.
+ Coordinates development of FRS & PAR Regional/National business reviews in partnership with our vendor.
+ Lead reporting of sub-national analytics and execution metrics via Sales Ops partnership
+ Lead and collaborate for FRS operational development/improvement/troubleshooting in partnership with our vendor.
+ Partners closely with FRS Director and Regional Managers on MBO Metric enhancements for appropriate Patient Access Programs.
+ Drives sharing of standard methodology process to improve performance across teams and the partnership
+ Makes recommendations to management on improving patient access effectiveness based on key metrics
+ Collaborate with Brand Marketing Sr Managers/ Director in strategic/tactical KPI development/tracking
+ Demonstrates strong ability to break down national trends and opportunities
+ Collaborate with FRS vendor leadership to pull through improvements discovered from analysis
+ Demonstrate process expertise to build and handle analytics on the customer experience
+ Demonstrate overall fulfillment and individual analytics to forecast staffing needs
+ Partner with FRS Vendor Partners for reporting needs (Power BI)
+ Partner with internal PAR analyst for pulse insights and navigation
+ Partner with compliance to develop analytics ensuring department practices are being followed and regulatory standards are upheld

**Basic Qualifications:**
Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales, sales ops and/or marketing experience
OR
Master’s degree and 4 years of sales, sales ops and/or marketing experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales, sales ops and/or marketing experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales, sales ops and/or marketing experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of sales, sales ops and/or marketing experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strategic planning and analytical experience
+ Strong business analysis skill
+ Strong ability to translate complex data/information into simple, useful insights
+ Outstanding project management skills
+ Proven ability to drive cross-functional partnerships, execution, and results
+ Effective communication and matrix management skills including key partnership with sales operations, training, US Value & Access, CD&A, among others will be paramount
+ Solid understanding of the US payer environment
+ Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work optimally across the matrix View Job

+ Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including direct experience using these skills in professional setting

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
