**Responsibilities** **About the Role:** As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a positive and efficient experience. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to patient intake, ensuring our patients receive the care they need with ease and understanding. **Your responsibilities will include:** + **Greeting and Registering Patients:** Warmly welcoming patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. + **Managing Patient Accounts:** Collecting co-pays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances, processing payments, and reconciling daily transactions. + **Navigating Insurance:** Verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining necessary referrals and pre-authorizations for tests and procedures, and answering patient questions about their coverage. + **Scheduling Appointments** : Efficiently scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing appointment confirmations and cancellations. + **Providing Exceptional Customer Service:** Answering patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive and supportive experience for every patient. **Qualifications** **What You'll Bring:** + Experience: One year of customer service experience is required; two years preferred.
