We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Patient Access Representative to join our Emergency Room team.
This role is essential in supporting our patients and clinical staff during some of the most critical moments in healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and can work independently with a strong ability to problem-solve on the spot. Working in an Emergency Room setting is not for everyone. The ideal candidate must be able to handle the unique challenges that come with this critical area of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform standard Patient Access Registration functionsCheck in patients upon arrival to the Emergency DepartmentCollect and verify demographic information and insurance coverageEnsure accurate and timely data entryProvide compassionate, professional service in potentially high-stress or emotionally intense situationsMay be assigned to work in other areas of the hospital as neededWork Environment:
Overnight shifts requiredMust be available to work weekends and holidaysEmergency Room setting with unpredictable patient volumesFast-paced and emotionally intense; must be comfortable handling trauma, injuries and strong odorsQualifications:

Shift:
Night Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays required
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
