What you will do:
Toggling multiple systems & applications
Remote patient registration
Census Reconciliation- Hospital vs. Patient registration data
Patient Identification/Demographic updates
Insurance verification, mapping correct plan codes to insurance types
Hold codes- Identify and Hold encounters pending follow up
Resolving Unbilled encounters
Electronic communications- Provider, Medical Record request
Attend team daily huddles; to received and provide process report performance outcomes
Performance/Productivity- Daily/Weekly huddles MS Teams
What you will need:
High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent in lieu of diploma/GED
0-2+ years relevant experience in healthcare with knowledge of any of the following within billing and collections, medical insurance claims procedures and documentation, patient care charts and histories, patient registration procedures and documentation.
What would be nice to have:
Familiar with Insurance payer portal
Realtime Insurance eligibility verifications
Knowledge of Health Insurance plans, HMO, PPO, Manage Care and Replace plan coverage
The annual salary range for this position is $37,600.00-$56,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
