Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Medical Appointment Scheduler for a well-established hospital in the greater Los Angeles area to handle inbound calls for scheduling primary care and urgent care appointments for outpatient patients. Key Responsibilities: * The Patient Access Representative will schedule doctor appointments for primary care and urgent care services based on availability * Ensure that appointments are scheduled in appropriate time slots, optimizing patient flow * Remain logged into the phone system for the entire shift to handle all inbound calls * As a Patient Access Representative, you will answer patient calls in a timely manner, providing accurate information regarding appointments * Adhere to strict protocols for answering calls and delivering the correct information * Demonstrates drive, initiative, and attention to detail in completing tasks
