MAIN FUNCTION: Emergency Room Registration responsible for:

All registration and pre-registration functions at all Patient Access intake points of entry Insurance verifications through electronic verification systems Assure quality patient care and collection of co-pays and deductibles if applicable Provides other registration support as required

EDUCATION: High school graduation or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Strong medical terminology skills are required with one year related health care experience. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be proficient with hospital registration and support systems. Excellent customer service and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.  

SCHEDULE: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 8:30am to 5:00pm
