Patient Access Specialist

Facility: Tempe Diablo Technology Park

Department: Patient Assistance Center

Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week

Shifts: Days

Under the direction of the CHC Registration Manager, this position is responsible for handling incoming patient calls, providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and routing to designated staff as appropriate.  Schedules appointments and completes referral process as instructed.

 

Qualifications:

 

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Must have a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of general clerical, customer service or medical experience, preferably in a healthcare environmentSpecialized Training:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Requires excellent data entry skills. Must be able to demonstrate interviewing and investigative techniques in order to obtain information that may not be offered. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary Range: Hourly rate: $17.54 - $25.87
