Eligible for $3,000 sign-on bonusSchedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week; day shift______________________________________________ENTRY REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration or related field required or an associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience.Extensive experience with multiple IT systems required.Must have knowledge of patient financial services process.Must be able to work independently and prioritize projects and timelines within a flexible schedule.Report writing knowledge and experience preferred.Strong organizational skills required.Proven problem-solving initiative and skills required.Able to operate under frequently stressful conditions due to the constantly changing requirements in healthcare.Above average ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.  ORGANIZATIONUnder the general supervision of the Director of Patient Access Services.  Often receives direction from Information Systems STAR coordinators.   KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLSMust have knowledge of patient financial services processes.Must be able to work independently and prioritize projects and timelines within a flexible schedule.Report writing knowledge and experience preferred.Strong organizational skills required.Proven problem-solving initiative and skills required.Able to operate under frequently stressful conditions due to the constantly changing requirements in healthcare.Above average ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.  ESSENTIAL DUTIESResponsible to trouble shoot and maintain optimal ADT functions and interfaces affecting efficient operation of Munson Healthcare.Maintains a global knowledge of MHC business procedures to be able to problem solve issues in all areas of responsibility.Assist with specific IS and software system product issues as they arise and provide input on new systems or upgrades.Facilitates system upgrades in relation to all Patient Access Services locations specific functions.Contributes to the analysis, design, construction and implementation of systems relating to PAS functions.Plans and coordinates education of system changes or process revisions in all MHC PAS locations.Assumes accountability for on time delivery of assigned projects.Required to provide on-call support to PAS for computer system issues.Assists in resolving billing, registration, customer service and other system issues.Is required to compile and analyze a broad cross section of detail and information regarding all department activities and assist in the development of procedures and appropriate education to facilitate the flow of patients into the organization.Presents a team-oriented, leadership role, promoting vision, goal-oriented direction and creativity within work teams.Takes responsibility to identify and develop skills necessary to meet requirements of new technologies.Provides input to ongoing planning of department direction.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.ORGANIZATIONAL EXPECTATIONSModels Munson Healthcare’s Purpose – We Improve LivesEmbraces and supports the Munson Healthcare Alignment Framework including our Purpose, Mission, Vision, Values, True North Goals, Strategic Vision and Goals, and Operating System.Promotes personal and patient safety.Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
