The primary purpose of the Patient Accounts Clerk II position is to, serve as the Cash Control Clerk with responsibility for daily deposit preparation, cash posting and reconciliation of patient related cash received by University Hospital.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED Certification required. Three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience in physician’s office or hospital billing. Knowledge in the various types of insurance coverage and medical terminology is required. Must be PC literate and demonstrate quantitative orientation and background in financial transactions and record keeping. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Ability to work in a stressful environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and customer service is required.
