Patient Advocate Job Duties:

Patient Advocacy

Acts as the Patient Advocate for the hospital, providing timely logging, investigation, and closure of patient complaints and grievances. Assis with planning and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Projects

Assist with planning and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Other

May assist in training employees in compliance, risk, or quality subjects. May provide assistance in reviewing compliance opportunities and monitoring progress and deadlines. May serve as a liaison for designated compliance and quality improvement initiatives. May assist with the investigation of incidents. Perform other duties and responsibilities associated with position as needed.
