The Patient Advocate Coordinator will ensure that the organization’s specialty patients are provided with timely, exceptional service, among other duties. Patient Advocates require expertise and customer service skills to promote an outstanding patient experience.

 

Mon-Fri 8:30 - 5:30 in Oklahoma City with potential for hybrid arrangement in the future.

Responsibilities Welcome and on-board all new specialty infusion referralsBuild rapport and establish trust with specialty patients and caregiversNotifies patients/families regarding coverage and payment responsibilitiesConduct routine check-ins with patients during the onboarding processingCollects needed information from patients and/or caregivers including patient insurance and medication profilesCollaborates with Intake and Pharmacy staff to schedule visits and ordersManage patient retention by ensuring all reasonable interventions are executed to retain a patient on service Qualifications High school diploma or GEDMinimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare customer serviceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred About our Line of Business Amerita is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
