Under general supervision, assists with processing patient imaging records and expediting patient care within the radiology department. Greets patients in person or through various communication media to establish rapport between the hospital, patient, family, and radiology staff. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.

Previous experience in patient care preferred.

Knowledge of basic medical terminology, Radiology Information Systems and Henry Ford Health Information system functions preferred.

Telephone usage and principles of filing required.
