We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Appointment Scheduler. As a Patient Appointment Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for patients and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Schedule appointments for patients in person, over the phone, or through emailVerify patient information and insurance coverageCommunicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary informationMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsCollaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that patient needs are metFollow up with patients to reschedule missed appointmentsProvide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Requirements

 

High school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in computer systems and softwareKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance coverage is a plus.
