Position Summary: We are seeking an organized and resourceful Patient Associate for our Manhattan location, to register patients, collect co-pays and payments for services and enters registration information in the Electronic Medical Record. Job Responsibilities: + Customer Service – receive person presenting to clinic reception area; patient registration; schedule patients efficiently. + Administration – verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointments, obtain pre-authorization + Compliance – ensure that patient records are accurate and complete. + QA/QI – participate in Quality Improvement activities. + Collaboration – participate in patient recruitment and retention activities. Qualifications: + High school diploma/GED with 2 years of working experience required.
