Responsibilities

Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).  

Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.Record all observations.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Education: 

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
