M-F 8am-4:30pmThe Patient Blood Management Analyst plays a critical role in advancing HNL Lab Medicine’s and Jefferson's commitment to evidence-based transfusion practices and patient safety. This position is responsible for acquiring, analyzing, and disseminating data related to blood utilization and transfusion practices. The analyst serves as a key liaison between clinical teams, transfusion medicine physicians, and patient blood management committees to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. (these duties are the core tasks and responsibilities of the position)
Clinical LiaisonFacilitate communication between clinical departments, transfusion medicine physicians, and patient blood management committees.Support multidisciplinary efforts to improve transfusion practices and reduce unnecessary blood product usageProgram OversightAssist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient blood management initiatives.Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend evidence-based interventions.Education & SupportProvide data-driven insights to support education and training for clinical staff on transfusion guidelines and patient blood management strategies.QualityParticipate in audits, quality improvement projects, and performance reviews related to blood utilization.QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science, nursing, data analytics, or related field required, Master’s preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare related analytics, transfusion medicine, or patient blood management preferredProfessional experience in Health Administration Health Information Management, Public Health, Business Administration, Technical Information Systems Business Analytics, Information Technology, Business IntelligenceHNL Lab Medicine is an equal opportunity employer.
