Overview

As our Patient Care Tech at The Woodlands Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.

Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You’re diligent about your tasks, observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well. You know we’re all continuously trying to become better care providers, and you’re eager to learn.

Responsibilities
Answer call lights and unit phone to assist with questions and concerns from patients and family members   Communicate monitor and document pertinent patient information Assist with admission transfers transporting lifting and discharge of patientsMake rounds and respond promptly to patients families and clinical team requestsAssist in organization cleaning and safety of the unit and patient room
Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma/GED Basic Life Support (BLS) 

Minimum Experience:

One (1) year direct patient careGood written/oral communication skills
