Overview Park Ridge Dentistry is a comfortable and modern dental clinic. We offer comprehensive dental care in Park Ridge and the surrounding areas. We specialize in diagnosing and treatment of dental health needs. Dental services range from preventative to restorative. As a Dental Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients from the moment they contact our office. You will be responsible for managing patient schedules, handling inquiries, processing insurance information, and assisting with the front desk duties. You will work closely with the dental team to ensure that patient needs are met promptly and professionally. Schedule (days/hours) Mon and thurs 8am-5pm tues 10am-7pm thurs 8am-2pm sat 8am-2pm every other Responsibilities Greeting: Create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and greet each patient with a warm welcome Guiding: Assist patients with check in/check out procedures (including insurance verification), schedule appointments, and provide information about services and payment options, guiding them through their visit with ease and professionalism Gratitude: Express appreciation to patients for choosing us for their dental care and treat everyone with respect and professionalism Qualifications Greet and check in patients with a friendly, welcoming demeanor Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment, insurance, or billing Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification Collect and update patient information, including health history and personal data Process patient payments and manage billing Assist patients in understanding treatment plans and financial options Coordinate patient referrals and follow-ups Assist with preparing patient charts and treatment records for dental procedures Maintain a clean and organized front office and patient reception area Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting Compensation $20 - $25 an hour About Us Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
