If applicable, the PCTA will place an IV in the patient prior to their study.Using Epic (EMR), the PCTA will communicate with the team through Snapboard.Scanner assignments will be used to divide the workload between the number of PCTAs schedule for that day.PCTAs are responsible for a clean and stocked work area at all times.Train newer staff to meet the department requirements.Required Qualifications*High school diploma or equivalent.Maintain BLS cardAbility to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs.Ability to be in stationary position (sitting or standing) up to 80% of the time.Great communication skillsWorked within in a large operation that covers multiple sites.Desired Qualifications*IV, blood draw experience is a desired requirement, but it can be taught upon hiring.
Work Schedule5-8 hr shifts, 2pm -10pm.

Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
