Minimum requirements include 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only. If no experience/training in sterile technique; insertion and removal of urinary catheters, and IV reseal removal. A BayCare PCT Course and accompanying competencies must be completed within 90 days of hire.
