Job Overview:
The Patient Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School DiplomaBLS Certification through American Heart Association onlyEnrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalentCertifications and Licenses:
BLS certification through American Heart AssociationScheduling Requirements:
Evenings 3:00PM - 11:00PMEvery other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needsPart-Time (20 hrs)Mandatory OrientationOther Duties:
