**Job Summary**
+ The Patient Care Technician performs duties related to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse.
+ They are responsible for clerical duties as well.
**Education and/or Experience**
+ High school graduate or GED required.
+ Must be 16 or older.
+ Previous work in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
**Certification/Licensure/Registrations**
+ Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) registry preferred but not required.
+ BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.
+ Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) within one year of employment is required. Certification requirements to be maintained while working in department.
**Work Schedule**
+ Varied Shifts; 48 hours every 2 weeks
+ 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
+ Every other weekend
+ Every other holiday
+ Occasional call time
**Pay**
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
+ $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
