Location/Division Specific Information

Discover Impactful Work: This role has global responsibility for patient data security engineering within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team. In this position, you will play a key role in running, maintaining, and securing patient data applications and systems. With dual reporting into Cybersecurity Engineering and Critical Asset Protection, you will have opportunities to lead both patient data protection and insider threat mitigation efforts for the company.

A Day in the Life:

Collaborate with Architects and peer engineers to identify critical areas for improvement in the technology used, most importantly patient data repositories, patient data applications, and insider threat toolingContinuously provide insight into ways to apply existing technology more efficientlyRecommend new tools or workflows to bridge gaps and scale our security capabilities

Keys to Success:

Use of influence skills to acquire agreement and participation from various groups and partners without direct controlEnsure documentation and processes are well defined so that the engineered solutions are understood and repeatable.Ensure solutions are well built, backed up & restore tested, and consistently maintained for healthProactively communicate and collaborate with the business on maintaining our security posture.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable0-2 years of related work experienceCertifications not required, but encouraged: CSSLP, CASE, GCIH, GSEC, GMON, GWEB, Network+, Security+ or related certifications

Experience

At least two years experience in an AWS or Azure Cloud-native development platformStrong organization skills, leading sophisticated projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience building DLP, SIEM & SOAR workflows highly desired
