Overview Responsible for patient food service on assigned unit: e.g. menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Two years of food service/customer service experience required. Knowledge of menu editing or diet modification desirable. On-the-job training provided. Must be knowledgeable in basic computer skills. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to communicate and cooperate with all hospital personnel in every conceivable circumstance. Possess necessary skills to effectively operate hospital�s admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient-care records. Must be able to handle direct patient contact.
