Patient Engagement Coordinator San Antonio Recovery Center is looking for a compassionate and organized Patient Engagement Coordinator.Leading and directing crisis operations, including crisis management, policies and procedures and the overall quality of care for the client. Manages the client care intervention procedure and assists clinical, medical, behavioral, facility operations and management teams. Works closely with the leadership team to report status and updates on family and ROI communication, client care, documentation, operations, and clients requiring immediate or constant attention. Essential Job Functions Lead and manage the direct coordination of staff involving crisis clients.Manages the following staff members: Patient Engagement Coordinator.Responsible for managing crisis situations including leading efforts with staff to prevent clients from leaving ASA and addressing behavior and noncompliance. This includes making contact and coordinating with all active Releases of Information (ROI)Provides continuous training and education services for staff members in Crisis ManagementResponsible for maintaining accurate documentation of crisis clients dailyResponsible for greeting and providing an orientation of all new clients to the facility and staff, with a focus on readmission clientsManages and oversees crisis services, recommends course of action for crisis clients, and assists in determination of individualized or additional careAssists with long term goals and planning to support the initiative of operational excellenceResponsible for contacting the Executive Director immediately following any unusual occurrences (i.e., police, ambulance, inspectors, and/or public officials.)Contact the designated administrative/clinical personnel immediately following any unusual circumstances (i.e., ASA, relapses, inappropriate behavior, positive drug tests, etc.)Interface with families, treatment team members and case management dailyTakes a call schedule as directed by the Executive Director with flexibility to change work schedule pending client and facility needsCreates and utilizes a method to measure performance and progress towards the Organizations established goals and strategic planAssists in the coordination of client and facility searches as well as other custody & control areas including but not limited to urine drug testingDevelops, monitors, and administers processes and procedures to maintain efficiency and quality, and supports the goals and strategic planFormulate training and performance standards to maximize the client experienceCreates and maintains management objectives and develops internal controls to ensure accountabilityAssists the leaders of each department with matters of client concerns or personnel concernsRemain up to date on all compliance guidelines and regulations and ensure all operations are carried out in accordanceThe ability to effectively make decisions to support organizational goals and strategic plansWorking closely with other departments including Operations, Leadership, Medical, Case management, Clinical, and Admissions.Develop and maintain techniques for procedure and documentation.Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.1-3 years; training or related field.Valid Driver’s licenseRequired Background Check/ScreeningSatisfactory references from employers and/or professional peersSatisfactory CORI check/OIG and Pre-employment Drug ScreenAbility to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar.
