Patient Experience Liaison

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-Time Patient Experience Liaison for their Greeter/Screener Department at Chilton Medical Center. Required hours vary including alternating weekends.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Addresses and greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as required. Utilizes the skills and provides experience to the family members of the patient for patient care experience. Works with the team members, staff and physicians. Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff. Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families. Identifies and implements systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service/mission quality. Provides data on patient care issues, maintains reports, analyses trends, and forwards information to appropriate departments for action. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or relevant area preferred. To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Must effectively manage time, and function as a self- starter by being proactive.  

Relevant Experience:

Excellent customer service experience preferred. 2 years’ experience in healthcare, customer service, hospitality or relevant area preferred.
