Position Purpose:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the position is directly responsible for supervising all daily operations for their shift. This includes but is not limited to, staffing, automated time keeping, data integrity, collections, financial counseling, ancillary departments, physician office liaison, compliance policies, quality of customer service delivery, and monitor the processing of requests to schedule or scheduled services.Ensures all staff levels are appropriate and assists in front line functions when appropriate. Oversee and support colleagues in PFS 1 positionKnowledge and understanding of revenue cycleUsing EPICDemonstrates working knowledge of third-party payor benefits and requirements, and regulations impacting registration procedures.Demonstrates working knowledge of CPT and ICD 9 coding and payor reimbursement methodologies.Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree or equivalent combination of years of education and 3 years relevant experience. Bachelors Degree in business or health administration preferred.Three to five or more years health care experience in a progressive health care organization focusing on revenue cycle and patient access with three years in a leadership position.Position Highlights and Benefits:
