PRN-Hours from 7a-7a on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Must work at least 4 hours per month.  

Responsible for coordinating all consult, admission, and transfer activities for the Hospitalist Department. Additional duties include but are not limited: to creating and maintaining physicians’ patient lists, patient and provider post discharge requests, coordinating physician assignments and admission order, and communication between the Hospitalists department with other departments

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or LPN program preferred.
• Prior experience working in an admitting, bed management, patient placement/throughput setting, including demographic and financial requirements of payers preferred.
• Requires the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with business partners.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of staff; including physicians, hospital administration, patients, and nursing staff in a professional manner.
