Cottage Health seeks a Patient Navigator Lead for their Navigation Center to connect the Cottage Health community with efficient access to care. The position is responsible for scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, reviewing/editing/obtaining pre-authorizations, and communicating directly with clinical staff/offices on pertinent patient information. This position serves as a primary resource for escalations in mitigating caller issues. Assists with employee onboarding and training as needed. Provides exceptional customer service and demonstrates dedication to the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Education:
Minimum: Associate's DegreeCertifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Preferred: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative or Certified Patient Access Specialist (HBI)Technical Requirements:
Minimum: Basic MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, 35 wpm keyboard/typing speed, knowledge of an Electronic Health Record system. Preferred: Intermediate MS Office and Epic skills.Years of Related Work Experience:
Minimum: 2 years of patient access, healthcare scheduling, or health insurance experience Preferred: Four (4) years of patient registration, healthcare scheduling, or health insurance experience.
