Description We are searching for a detail-oriented individual to join a healthcare team as a Patient Registration Clerk located in Pomona CA. This is a temp-to-hire position located in Pomona. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily admission and registration of patients in our healthcare facility. Responsibilities: + Greet and register patients in a courteous and professional manner. + Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately. + Complete admission and discharge paperwork while ensuring all forms are thoroughly filled in and signed. + Interact with patients and their families to address queries or concerns related to the admission process. + Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth patient flow within the facility. + Protect patient's health information for confidentiality, authorized access for treatment, and data security. + Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate departments. + Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families, colleagues, and others. Requirements Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. + Minimum of one year experience in a hospital or health care setting in a similar role. + Excellent comprehension of medical terminologies. + Proficiency in the use of computer systems, including EMR. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. + Skilled in multi-tasking, organization, and attention to detail. + Willingness to work in shifts.
