Description We are in search of a Patient Registration specialist to join our team in the healthcare industry, specifically within hospitals and social assistance, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Patient Registration specialist, you will be tasked with handling patient registrations, managing electronic health records, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities + Checking patients in and out of clinic appointments + Updating patient charts + Following correct protocols for COVID + Walking patients through what to expect with appointments + Scheduling follow up appointments + Taking Co-payments + Various front office tasks Requirements + At least 2 years’ experience in medical/health care environment with similar responsibilities + Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality + Excellent communication skills + Desire to provide exceptional patient service + Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and EMR experience + Ability to manage time effectively and enjoys multitasking + Ability and willingness to comply with clinic standards and guidelines 40 hours per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. + Monday – Thursday | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm + Friday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm + Weekends + Holidays | 6:45 am – 12:00 pm TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
