The Patient Access/ Registration Representative ensures that all required patient demographic and insurance data is collected for treatment of care.  Responsible for accurately entering the information into the hospital financial system and ensuring consent for treatment of the patient.

 Education/Experience Requirements

Required:  

High school diploma or equivalent.  Six (6) months- one (1) year experience in a fast paced office setting, preferably in healthcare setting or physician practice.

Certification/ Other Requirements

Required:  

Must pass a patient access test with a score of 75% or higher, administered by Human Resources

Preferred:

Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)

Hourly Rate Range

$16.01 - $29.88/hour
